Seeking a RESTORATIVE CNA for our Winter Garden Health & Rehab Center!

We are seeking a skilled Restorative Aide to provide personalized care to our residents. In your role as a Restorative Aide, in collaboration with our healthcare team, you will assist our patients with everyday tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, eating meals, and going to the restroom.

You will also monitor their behavior and mood and document any significant changes to their actions or health. We prefer candidates who have a positive attitude and are interested in joining our family to work as team providing excellent quality of care.

Requirements / Qualifications for the Restorative CNA :

• High School degree or equivalent (GED)
• Completion of state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) education and training program
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• High level of patience, empathy, and compassion
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Basic computer and note-taking skills (record keeping)

Responsibilities of the Restorative CNA include, but are not limited to :

• Serve meals to patients; help them eat and drink if necessary
• Reposition and turn bedridden patients; assist those who need help walking or assistance transporting in wheelchairs
• Keep rooms clean and sterile and change soiled bedding and bedpans
• Take vital signs daily and record patient eating habits and bodily functions, reporting any drastic changes to a nurse
• Transport medical equipment in and out of rooms according to patient requirements
