Expected annual base salary range: $51,500 to $72,000
GPS level: P1
JOB SUMMARY: Project Specialist support multiple Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) project teams WCG. They understand clinical study protocols and they apply that knowledge to the responsibilities defined by the needs of specific DMC projects. Project Specialist work under the direct supervision of Project Managers (PMs).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in related field with 1 to 2 years of related administrative experience; or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience to perform the job.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Attention to detail, accuracy, initiative, and excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to juggle several projects simultaneously and to work with several different project managers and teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
- Drafting, editing, and distributing reports to clients and DMCs.
- Noticing and reporting to statistical leads inconsistencies between data tables/figures and report text.
- Ensuring quality control of documents and reports.
- Organizing confidential study materials and maintaining project logs.
- Documenting study correspondence.
- Preparing table, figure, and listing shells for Statistical Analysis Plans.
- Under the supervision of the PM, coordinating conference calls and meetings with clients and DMCs.
- Communicating with DMC members and clients with PM review.
- Drafting minutes of internal and external meetings.
- Assisting with QA or administrative projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
