What You Will Be Doing: 

The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items for customers of the e-sports bar. They will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. The Line Cook will also assist with inventory management, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively champions the company’s vision, mission, culture, and overall business objectives.
• Prepares food items according to recipes and customer orders
• Follows proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
• Ensures that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and served in a timely manner
• Collaborates with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
• Assists with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies are running low
• Maintains a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food items and equipment
• Adheres to all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices
• Assists with menu planning and development as needed
  

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience working as a line cook in a restaurant or bar setting
• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, as well as proper food handling and safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  
• Availability to work with team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Must be a collaborator with the ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
  

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:

Competitive hourly rate.

Working hours:

Part-Time variable hours with days, nights, and weekend shifts required available.
