Building Analyst / Energy Auditor

Wise Home Energy is a Home Performance contractor based in Rochester and servicing the Western NY region. Wise is currently seeking to expand its Project Management team to serve our customers with our best-in-class home energy audits, Indoor Air Quality, and home comfort needs assessments. As a Home Energy Auditor, you will be influential in customer service and designing the improvements for the health and efficiency of homes. Wise Home Energy takes pride in the building science and customized solutions for our customers home comfort needs. As an Building Analyst, you will work closely with customers and our expert team to create lasting solutions for their home. You will be able to identify Indoor Air Quality needs, heating and cooling concerns, as well as insulation and air sealing solutions. Our team works with State and Federal programs to assist home owners in finding affordable solutions to their home health needs. Responsibilities include:

• Working with customers to understand their “pain points” for home comfort in order to create an effective solution for their needs.
• Inspect energy supply lines and home appliances in order to document use of all energy star appliances currently installed in the customer’s home.
• Uses a variety of tools such as air velocity monitors, digital thermometers, and blower door devices to collect field data related to energy use. Completing blower door and Indoor Air Quality tests.
• Creating Scope of Work and material lists based on the home energy assessments and proposed solutions.
• Identifying State and Federal Programs that align with the customers Scope of Work.
• Managing the project budget and timelines.
• Seeing the project through completion for insulation and HVAC services, providing post blower door testing, and ensuring the jobs is completed to the customers satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• Personable and Customer Service Oriented
• Great Communication Skills
• Basic mechanical and electrical experience associated with completing home improvement projects.
• HVAC training/education preferred but not required
• BPI Certification preferred but not required
• Prior experience in the construction and/or home energy industry preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
