WisEngineering, LLC is currently interviewing candidates for an immediate position with our company in support of ongoing Department of Defense programs at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Candidate must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Successful candidate will be a direct (W2) employee of WisEngineering.

MUST HAVE Previous Department of Defense Experience: Foreign National Weapons Program, Mortar Fire Control System, or Remote Weapon Systems (Unspecified).
Must have experience with small arms and direct fire munitions manuals. Demonstrated knowledge of DoD and US Army Publication Standards and Processes of Electronic Publishing, including: Technical Manuals – According to MIL-STD-40051 Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) Technical Bulletins, Draft Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs) Quality Assurance / Control Processes

Role & Responsibilities:
- Generate Technical Manuals (TMs) and Technical Bulletins (TBs) for participation in and support of a Limited User Test (LUT), Logistics Demonstration (Log Demo), and Technical Manual validation / verification.
- Conduct quality assurance, manual verification, and XML authoring
- Provide liaison support with Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure clear and concise information within the manuals in the proper format and synchronize documentation with developmental life-cycle.
- Compile and produce (hard copy and electronic media) drafts for review and for use in support of various weapon systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Researches, analyzes, writes, edits, and proofreads technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications for software development.
- Balance multiple concurrent tasks and regularly communicate status and issues to management.
- Identify gaps in documentation and offer one stop solution for Next Generation requirements with the ability to develop and execute plans to address them.
- Assist with the management of the project's document library.
- Ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style, while meeting all production schedules.
- Must be comfortable with the software development life cycle and end-user documentation.
- Ability to write proofread and edit the following document types: operational, maintenance, reference, and end-user documentation as well as intuitive designing, 3D Modeling and Flash content creation.
