This adventurer handles projects for products like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. We are looking to hire a Localization Specialist who will lead localization projects to meet partner and business needs. Responsibilities include collecting and assessing project requirements and crafting the best localization strategies for them.
What You'll Do:
- Lead localization projects while driving high quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor Localization project landmarks and report on progress.
- Prepare files for SDL World Server & Trados.
- Maintain translation memories and terminology databases.
- Assist Localization team with projects and duties.
- Ensure that localized database records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Archive source and target files.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Localization or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of demonstrated ability handling localization projects with vendors.
- Experience with digital games, web and marketing content, and videos.
- Experience with SDL- World Server & SDL Trados, SDLX.
- Knowledge of or curiosity about the game or entertainment industry.
- Finds unique and creative solutions to project challenges.
- Outstanding ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to lead many projects simultaneously.
