Full Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing and Operations Coordinator to help with daily tasks such as upkeep of social media platforms, creating/ordering promotional materials, scheduling and booking travel and room for customers and employees, organizing employee and community events and representing WKI Kenworth, Master Tech Truck and Equipment and PacLease Wichita in a professional manner. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Creating content, scheduling and posting to all of our social media platforms for all of our businesses (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tik Tok) as well as engaging with followers and interacting with customers/businesses
· Continually stay updated on all product knowledge and continued training through the online training portal.
· Updating the company website to accurately represent departments, phone numbers, content, monthly specials and overall details about the company
· Assist department managers in the hiring process through really and social media. List jobs, pre-screen applicants and schedule interviews while comparing multiple calendars
· Travel coordination for employees who are traveling to conferences, visiting customers or picking up trucks. Hotel/flight/vehicle booking as well as booking customers hotels who are needing to stay nearby. Registering employees for said conferences as well. Making any changes necessary with airlines and hotels due to location changes, personnel changes, etc.
· Community Outreach- getting WKI Kenworth employees involved in the community through holiday drives, 5K’s supporting local charities and clothing drives among many other things. Creation of flyers and marketing material, communication with organization at hand and getting payment made as needed. Registering our participants and packet pick up.
· Coordinating internal events such as holiday meals, employee engagement and retirement celebrations.
· Customer Holiday Gift/Card organization. Assist in picking out the gift, compile the list of who receives a card, a card and a gift or nothing, organize gifts by location and department, help with delivery of gifts.
· Employee engagement such as creating and distributing a monthly newsletter, sending “Happy Birthday” and “Happy Work Anniversary” emails to every employee on their respective days, sending company wide emails for the big events such as retirements, the death of an employee and any upcoming events.
· Ordering business cards and creating/ordering print promotional materials for various events.
· Report to Vice President all proposals to ensure alignment with overall company policies, plans, procedures, strategies, objectives, goals and brand identity before implementation.
· Assist other departments as needed including runs to the Post Office/Bank, following drivers with trucks for delivery, delivering trucks to customers as needed and more.
Travel-15% to various Conferences as well as to other locations to be involved in employee/community events and to get content for social media.
