Job Description Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing & Fundraising, the Digital Fundraising Campaign Specialist position contributes to the strategic direction of WNET’s digital marketing and fundraising efforts with an emphasis on the organization’s enewsletter program. This role includes writing, editing and approval stewardship in partnership with the Production Associate, Digital Marketing and Fundraising for the organization’s fundraising campaigns and will include e-newsletter development responsibilities. The Digital Fundraising Campaign Specialist will assist in additional special digital fundraising initiatives as the need arises. In addition, the Digital Fundraising Campaign Specialist will actively participate in strategy discussions for digital fundraising initiatives and continuous professional development surrounding the platforms (via Salesforce) in place and industry standards. Specific responsibilities include: • Develop and recommend enewsletter fundraising integrations across all business units. • Support email campaign initiatives tied to the 9 digital campaigns we issue a year. • Assist in the development of a Marketing Cloud training program for WNET email producers, reviewers and general staff that provides a technical guide to the email marketing function, alongside WNET email program best practices. • Perform regular enewsletter metric reporting, generating insights and making recommendations for improvements. • Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing and Fundraising team in developing WNET Journeys via Marketing Cloud – personalized cultivation tracks. • With a migration to Marketing Cloud underway, several web site redesign projects and a new eCommerce environment on the horizon, the Digital Fundraising Campaign Specialist will be called upon to research and advise on technical issues surrounding both donor and constituent support and the constituent user experience. Qualified candidates will have solid (copy) editing skills, high attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft applications and Adobe Creative Suite. The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal skills, including ability to maintain strong professional relationships with a range of groups, volunteers and associates both in person and in writing. Additional qualifications include: • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including working on digital campaigns and/or online marketing; • Experience working email marketing platforms, content management systems and CRMs (Blackaud/Convio’s Luminate Online and Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud); • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and mobile optimization; • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data management skills, and experience working with nonprofit membership databases; • Familiarity with A/B testing and digital campaign design best practices from email to page layout; • Knowledge of segmentation, dynamic content, and testing methodologies; • Understanding CAN-SPAM and permission marketing requirements and best practices; • Experience in applying and using metrics to inform email strategies. Salary ranges are based on benchmarked nonprofit and industry related data provided by an outside consulting firm and are commensurate with skills and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $58,500.00 - $64,000.00. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
