Join our team as a CDLA Company Regional Driver. We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to transport goods safely and efficiently within a designated region.
This fulltime position requires extended periods away from home ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with traffic laws.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a commercial tractor / trailer unit within a designated region
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other drivers
- Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications :
At least 21 years of age
1 year of verifiable tractortrailer experience within the past 3 years OR 611 months of driving experience in the past year plus completion of an approved CDL school
Pass companys physical exam and drug and alcohol screening
Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
Experience with temperaturecontrolled cargo such as meat and produce (preferred)
