WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is looking for an energetic, dedicated, dynamic individual to join our Sales and Marketing Team! This is a full-time, year-round position and includes medical, dental, vision, and 401k options and many other perks and benefits available to WonderWorks staff! The Sales & Marketing Coordinator concentrates on providing support to the sales management team and initiating positive interactions with prospective guests. The Sales & Marketing Coordinatoris responsible for communicating with interested parties through email and phone, managing promotional materials, maintaining sales and marketing databases, and maintaining company values.

This position requires weekend availability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support for sales management team
  • Answers telephone calls and emails while providing information to interested parties.
  • Answer inquiry calls, create bookings, rebooking outreach, greet groups
  • Calls to leads including but not limited to families, churches, corporations, and sports/performance markets.
  • Manage distribution of promotional and collateral materials to supports sales and marketing programs.
  • Maintains sales and marketing database(s) including inventories of contact names and information and customer/prospect files.
  • Participates in promotional activities and events including but not limited to trade shows, Holiday and Back to School Events, weekend sporting events, industry association meetings and couponing at events assigned by senior sales manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

· On-the-job training is provided upon joining, and in order to meet and exceed our guests' needs, night, holiday, and weekend availability is a requirement.

  • Experience preferred in progressive entertainment/hospitality business office or sales environment, preferably at an attraction, theme park, high volume entertainment venue or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
