Senor Estimator/Purchaser(Custom Architectural Millwork MFG)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senor Estimator/Purchasing Agent to join our team. We are a custom Architectural casework shop. As a Purchasing Agent, you will play a crucial role by having a firm understanding of company product lines, equipment, and computerized woodworking machinery and assembly standards. As an Estimator, you will Develop and submit project bids while managing project specifications, architectural drawings, and blueprints; indentifying the scope of work. If you have a strong background in manufacturing, cabinet making, and good knowledge of material, we encourage you to apply. `

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:

-Must have knowledge of all products used in the fabrication of architectural casework and millwork including plastic

laminates, lumbers, veneers, solid surface, and others.

- Will ensure the products meet quality standards and the project manager's schedule for production and installation

- Review and analyze bid results to develop estimating methods and enhance competitiveness, guide the team of

estimators and share best practices techniques and industry standards while analyzing historical data, market trends, and

industry benchmarks to support accurate costing and projections.

- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles

- Proficiency in production planning and inventory control

- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing

- Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions

- Knowledge of contract management and legal requirements

- Experience with e-commerce platforms for purchasing activities

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and vendors
