Key Responsibilities
Contributes technical specialization in data science, including design and management of databases, data processing and analysis of client data- Contributes to research projects advancing the practice and to implementation projects improving the management of transportation infrastructure assets for the benefit of clients, system users, and society
- Contributes to complex projects and leads smaller projects or phases of large projects
- Assists developing new business through technical proposal development, networking, excellent client interaction, conference participation, and development of professional reputation
- Contributes positively to a committed, diverse, inclusive, professional team environment.
Basic / Required Qualifications
A bachelor or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, statistics or other relevant discipline is required- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and data management skills
- Experience with large datasets, data processing, statistical analysis, modeling with use of data analysis tools such as R (preferred), Matlab, Phyton, and SQL
- Complementary skills in data visualization and web tools (e.g., R Shiny, PHP, HTML, JavaScript) are highly desirable
- Knowledge or experience with asset management principles and / or pavement and bridge data topics is advantageous
- You must be an excellent communicator to include technical writing, oral presentation, and facilitation
- Must demonstrate ability to lead tasks within projects and have excellent client service abilities
- Drug screen and background check.
