Service Manager
We are looking for an individual who possess excellent leadership skills and the ability/desire to provide quality service to help our customers and lead our service department. If you have experience in the construction industry and management, this can be a great opportunity for you.
The Service Manager is the “Guardian of our companies’ reputation” and has the primary duty of managing the company’s service department. Responsible to establish and organize service calls in a standardized way to assure customers satisfaction and quality outcome. Efficiently, manages all proactive and reactive service calls. Customarily, directs the work of at least 2 or more full-time employees in the service department, including themselves. Supports the company’s management, purpose, mission, and values. We will provide extensive hands on training and tools to set this individual up for success in leading the service department.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
o One or more years of experience in customer service, construction, and management preferred; or,
o An equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in the business field.
o Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
o Knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction theories and practices.
o Skilled in operating a personal computer and programs.
o Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
o Ability to move about/traverse up to 50% of the time
REQUIREMENTS
o A valid New York State driver’s license and a safe driving record.
o Ambition to be a part of a winning team.
o Lead and manage a team.
o Reliable attendance.
$18 - $22/hr
