The Friendliest Club is seeking a Pool Manager for the summer. This position is seasonal, offering 30 hours a week, includes a Club MEMBERSHIP.
Qualifications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Individual must be capable of handling supervisory role over peers (especially teenagers)
- Handling and exposure to chlorine and other pool chemicals required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which would include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
The Pool Manager will:
- ensure the safety of all pool areas, supervise pool activities and ensure the lifeguards perform their job adequately
- Hiring, training and scheduling of lifeguards and summer pool staff.
- Daily pool maintenance and pool area cleanliness
- Interact professionally with members and guests
- Monitor water chemistry and maintain log of maintenance
- Respond appropriately to any incidents or accidents:
- Assume leadership, assess the situation, and alert necessary staff
- Administer and/or assist with first aid
- Complete necessary paperwork and submit before end of shift day of occurrence
- Ensure that station rotations are occurring properly
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 per hour
