What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift/Machine Operator position at Work Now Staffing?
Work Now Staffing is looking for Forklift/Machine Operators for our Carol Stream, IL client.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Requirements for General Labor and Forklift Operators:
- Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Duties include stacking and restacking products on pallets
- Unload Floor loaded containers
- Perform General House Keeping Duties
- Duties include labeling products and pallets
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Steel toe shoes mandatory
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) including long pants, hair/beard nets, and safety vests. Only jewelry allowed is a plain wedding band.
Additional Requirements for Forklift Operators:
- Be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down fork lift safely
- Ability to pass fork lift certification process
- Fill out daily fork lift inspection log book
- Point out issues for assigned fork lift
- Follow safety guidelines when loading/unloading trucks
