Position Highlights
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care for surgical patients and assists with emergency airway management and emergency IV access. Provides leadership and direction to department staff in coordination of patient care and delegation of activities to CRNAs, RNs, and other health care team members

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care for surgical patients and assists with emergency airway management and emergency IV access. Provides leadership and direction to department staff in coordination of patient care and delegation of activities to CRNAs, RNs, and other health care team members
Education And/or Experience
- Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- One-two years' experience required.
- Certification by the American Association Nurse Anesthetists.
- Be recertified every two years by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Licensure by the State Board of Nursing and also Certified.
- Maintain credentials per medical staff.
- Maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS training.
