Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of meetings and events, from small-scale gatherings to large conferences, ensuring they align with client needs.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives for each event.
Manage event space, vendors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records.
Create comprehensive event timelines, schedules, and logistical plans, ensuring all aspects are meticulously coordinated.
Oversee all event logistics, including setup, teardown, and on-site management to ensure events run seamlessly.
Implement creative ideas to enhance the attendee experience and achieve event success.
Conduct post-event evaluations and analyses to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of event planning principles, logistics, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients, and vendors effectively.
Proficient in event management software and tools
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative event concepts and experiences.
Ability to work independently and take initiative, thriving in an autonomous work environment.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage budgets effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings as needed for events.
