Candidate will be responsible for communicating with Customer Service and Operations to ensure clients shipments are actioned and processed.
Responsibilities
- Lead team of 3 in the dispatch office as well as 8 employee drivers.
- Responsible for the on-time performance of arranged pick up and transportation services with approved vendors throughout the assigned region.
- Regular performance evaluation of agents and vendor performance, with internal escalations of service failures to internal teams up and through to resolve.
- Providing service and cost projections on new business opportunities and would include solutions to low margin existing business.
- Candidate is responsible for all related TSA/IAC documents and vendor accountability.
- Designated staff of the team will be assigned to track & trace all outbound shipments; domestic or international, monitoring all shipments leaving from the facility to the final processing gateway or vendor and escalate any exceptions.
- Designated staff of the team will be assigned to track & trace all inbound and outbound domestic shipments; domestic, monitoring all shipments en route to and from the facility to the final processing gateway or vendor and escalate any exceptions.
- Support of internal departments; Operations, Customer Service, Accounts Payable, supporting requests for invoice approval, POD’s, proof of posting or general service expectations.
- This position will interact with other regional peers and may require direct instruction to internal departments, Operations on the preparation, documentation, and the packaging of inbound or outbound shipments or consolidations.

- Data entry, Email, Word, and Excel experience.
- Industry related or equivalent export experience with domestic shipping, TSA requirements.
- Prior experience in the logistics field or transportation of 6 months minimum.
