A Shift: Mon-Thurs, 7am to 5:30pm | $18.00
B Shift: Mon-Thurs, 5:30pm to 4am | $18.50
C Shift: Fri, Sat, Sun, 7pm to 7am | $19.00
Responsibilities/Job Duties of Production Worker:
- The candidate will work on a production line to assemble clutch plates for automatic transmissions
- Ability to frequently lift 20-50 pounds with a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching overhead
- Ability to stand for an entire shift, tolerate heat and use repetitive hand motion
- Ability to see clearly at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less
- Quality and safety conscious with attention to detail
- Availability for 2nd or 3rd Shift with Mandatory Overtime
Qualifications/Skills Needed of Production Worker:
- Ability to read and write English to understand instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
- Good mechanical skills suggested.
Physical Requirements of Production Worker:
The employee is frequently required to lift 20 to 50 lbs. The following activities are also required: reach (extending hands and arms in any direction), standing for long periods of time, occasional stooping, walking/balancing (moving about to accomplish tasks), lifting (raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position), grasping (applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm) and repetitive motion (substantial moving of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers) is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level can be loud. Appropriate PPE and applicable training will be provided.
