Summary The Proposal Manager directly supports the organization’s global sales organization with the end-to-end management and execution of RFx responses for private sector clients. The Proposal Manager works closely with sales executives and subject matter experts to lead, guide, manage, and deliver proposals that persuasively articulate the differentiated value of our solutions and services. In addition to managing RFx submissions, the Proposal Manager contributes to the continuous maintenance of our RFx response management system (Loopio) to ensure accurate content is readily available. In collaboration with the Sales, Pre-Sales Engineering, and other SME teams, the Proposal Manager ensures that high quality RFx content and responses are produced, deadlines are met, and the ‘win rate’ of these opportunities remain high. What You'll Do Manage the entire RFx process from initial release to final submission Develop 100% compliant, compelling, and winning proposals by ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and meet RFX requirements Generate response outlines and team assignments Manage timelines carefully while keeping the project team and document(s) on track for a complete and on-time submission Manage design production of final deliverables in conformance of company brand Continuously improve boilerplate content, graphics, collateral, and oral presentation materials Develop tailored proposal content in collaboration with sales and key subject matter experts, including strategic value messaging and positioning Contribute to the creation of new content and copy-editing of existing content so RFx library is accurate – this includes saving relevant new content to the Loopio library for reuse Effectively manage several projects simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines What You'll Need Skills Existing knowledge of RFx life cycle management and procurement regulations Comfortable with receiving minimal instruction on day-to-day work and general guidance on new assignments; operates independently in prioritizing work Advanced skills with proposal templates, styles, single and multi-file formatting, and production Solid understanding of visual layouts with meticulous attention to detail (basic graphic design skills are great to have) Ability to interact with all levels of personnel from technical to high level executive management, and influence key stakeholders in order to complete work efforts. Ability to function collaboratively within a fully remote team and hybrid environment Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge and experience of SaaS, Cloud Services, Data Storage preferred Experience/Education Proficiency using RFP Proposal Management database system, like RFPIO or Loopio Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Proficient using Salesforce Proficient using SAP Ariba and other RFx Submission Portals 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as business writing and development, English, Communications. Certification: Certified Proposal Management Professional (CPP APMP) preferred Travel Requirement Less than 10% travel Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office. How You’ll Be Rewarded: Salary range in the US: $79,000.00 - $134,000.00 A discretionary bonus typically paid annually Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
