WorkLink Staffing is currentlly hiring for the following position:
- Purchasing Manager
- Latrobe, Pennsylvania
- $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
- Monday - Friday, daylight hours
- This is a Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Responsibilities and Duties
- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business.
- Develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and maintaining adequate levels throughout the year.
- Manage the company’s day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Manage supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Manage the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
- Perform adhoc projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 5 years purchasing management experience.
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Drug Test
