About the role

The Program Manager role will provide partnership, project management, and regional programming in the Houston Metro Area and will make significant contributions in developing and implementing a multi-year strategic plan to expand the impact of the initiative. This position reports directly to the Senior Regional Program Manager


Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with funders, local supporting partners, and the internal team to meet its goals and targets

  • Significantly contribute to implementing a newly developed multi-year strategic plan

  • Communicate the value of the organization to external stakeholders

  • Maintain and advance existing relationships with Education Preparation Program Partners (EPPs), Local Education Agency partners (LEAs), and other relevant organizations (e.g, pre-teaching programs)

  • Lead on external partner communications with local partners

  • Identify and try out new and unique opportunities to expand the impact of the organization's work

  • Source region-specific content for web pages and campaigns

 

Background & logistics

  • 5 years of experience, preferably in the education or ed-tech sector

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Located in and willing to travel throughout the Houston Metro Area required
