Our client in South Amboy, NJ is looking for a B2B Customer Service & Logistics Rep. to join their team. The B2B Customer Service & Logistics Rep. will work cross-departmentally to facilitate communication about the delivery stages of all inbound and outbound shipments in order to promote an efficient and successful delivery experience.
This position includes administrative duties with oversight of shipping and tracking of orders to ensure orders are processed in accordance with the organization's customer service standards. The Customer Service Representative will communicate and coordinate not only with our asset-based carriers but also with external transportation companies for the pickups, returns, and deliveries of all the different moves.
This is an in-person role. Remote work is not available.

- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
- Supervise orders - inbounds and outbounds.
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
- Coordinating container pick-up and deliveries from ports to warehouses across the eastern seaboard.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management in order to determine the course of action.
- Inform different account managers of the expected delivery dates of their corresponding orders.
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
