The RN Supervisor is responsible for providing assessment and oversight of care planning for clients; assisting the nurses with program supervision, coordination, and oversight; providing resolution of client and caregiver matters; providing home health nursing services for clients; providing daily oversight of Tenderness Healthcare staff and staffing issues. The RN Supervisor understands the mission and goals of Tenderness Healthcare, and works within the limitations of Agency resources to meet Agency standards for performance, as well as service and budget goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with Client Care and Private Duty policies and procedures.
- Implements Total Quality Management activities relating to client satisfaction, compliance with Agency paperwork renewal, incident reporting, and the annual home health agency program evaluation.
- Assists the RN’s and Personal Care Workers in resolution of client and caregiver matters in all areas
- Supervises RN’s and Personal Care Workers , ensuring compliance with all service and reporting requirements.
- Participates in the orientation, training, and continuing education of Nurses and Personal Care Workers.
- Works to meet agency service and budget goals. Qualifications
- HS Diploma required; associate degree or bachelor degree preferred in Nursing.
- Current license to practice Nursing in Wisconsin (In good standing)
Bilingual preferred Previous experience in home health; 1 year documented
- 1-2 years of management experience
- Must have a good working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledgeable in WI DHS regulations for Personal Care Services
- Knowledgeable in WI DHS regulations for Nursing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
