Job Description:
Workwell is seeking a clinician experienced in outpatient orthopedics to serve as Therapy Director for our Englewood clinic, located at 401 W. Hampden Place. This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist experienced in outpatient orthopedics. This a full-time position that will be regularly scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Starting wage range for this role is $90,000-$100,000/yr., DOE plus generous incentive plan!

Essential Job Duties & Tasks

Work with peers on Center Leadership Team to accomplish key company goals and initiatives.

Promote growth of a patient-friendly culture for the physical therapy department.

Improve accessibility for patients to receive physical therapy.

Exemplify evidence-based physical therapy practice.

Evaluation and assessment of patients relative to physical therapy needs; Formulation of specific plans of treatment and goals for each patient; With physician approval, implementation of the physical therapy services defined in the patient care plans

Completion of all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner: Initial evaluations, daily treatment notes, discharge summaries, timely reassessment, educational activities for patient, billing related documentation, insurance justification letters for equipment purchase and rentals, and other documents as may be requested or required of patient care activities; Provides patient educational services: Provides both verbal and written information to patients as appropriate. Documents all education activities and response in patient's electronic medical record.
- Supervise, as needed, the administration of physical therapy services by the physical therapist assistants

Participate in plan of treatment reviews, patient case review conferences, patient assessment and reassessments, staffing with physicians

Compliance with established policies and procedures of the company, including strict adherence to Patient Confidentiality.

Assist the Medical Director as directed in the following, but not limited to: Utilization Review, Quality Assurance, Program Evaluation, Infection Control, and Safety Committee activities

Other duties as assigned
Work Hours

Clinic hours are approximately 8am -5pm, Monday - Friday, no weekends. Hours are dependent on business and clinic needs.
Required Experience:
Education, Skills & Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Must have a license (in good standing) or diploma to practice physical therapy from the State of Colorado Division of Registry.

Current CPR Certification.

Minimum of four years practicing as a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Medicine experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Frequent bending, squatting, bending, kneeling, climb/balancing, pushing/pulling, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to travel for training and/or other company offices
