Job Posting for UX Generalist at World Racing Group
This position maintains and optimizes the user experience and content interface for DIRTVision, our direct to consumer streaming service.
Responsibilities:
Make strategic design and user-experience centered decisions focusing on engaging, fresh content and overall subscriber practice; optimize content to ensure leading subscriber experiences
Perform platform performance audits through various measurement tools, including SEO; modify design and functions to enhance user experience using data-driven strategies; evaluate modifications and adjust as needed
Review subscriber support inquiries for feedback and assist with support responses as needed; mine feedback for areas of improvement and suggest design modifications as appropriate
Write clear and concise content that adheres to brand guidelines; ensure consistency across all pages in regard to look and feel, grammar, punctuation, metadata, graphics, etc.
Develop high-level and detailed storyboards, wireframes, and/or prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas;
Work with other departments to ensure that DIRTVision is properly leveraged to support various business objectives across ticketing, corporate partnerships, community outreach and more;
Assist in additional editorial content, as needed.

Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, web design, communications, or other related field
At least three years experience in content management, UX, and/or SEO/SEM optimization; preferably in sports, news or other streaming services
Combination of education and experience acceptable
Ability to have flexible schedule during race season
Strong attention to detail, especially with grammar, usage and spelling
Strong storytelling and content organization abilities
Knowledge of and interest in dirt-track racing preferred; genuine willingness to learn
Notes:
This is an in-office position in our Concord, NC location
This position is in office primarily during normal office hours, but may also be utilized during evening and/or weekend hours, especially during racing season.
This position requires frequent sitting and occasional walking and standing; the use of hands to grasp and feel frequently; the occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; and may require use of close vision.
Occasional, but infrequent travel, including weekends and overnights as needed to generate unique content from race tracks or related venues
