Objective:
WorldStrides' Creative Studio is hiring a Video Editor to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and boost revenue with compelling multi-channel video content.
As a Video Editor, you'll handle post-production tasks for marketing, sales, training, and recruiting videos. Your expertise in video and audio editing, color correction, and motion graphics will be crucial in delivering high-quality final products.
You'll work closely with internal teams throughout the post-production cycle—from concept to final output. Using existing content, new footage, and user-generated content (UGC), you'll create engaging videos for websites, social media, paid ads, and events.
This role is primarily remote (east coast hours) with occasional on-site work. Applicants should be based near our offices in Charlottesville, VA, Vienna, VA, or Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Be – and champion – of our brand, articulated consistently across all deliverables
- Deliver exceptional creative videos (concept to completion) that drives results
- Take provided content (current library, new footage, UGC, etc.) and edit to develop video stories for diverse audiences (parents, teachers, students)
- Set production schedules in collaboration with Studio staff and stakeholders
- Understand the brief, inputting ideas that strengthen outcomes for video creation of :15, :30, :60, 2min, 5min spots with web site, social channels, events, and digital ads
- Responsible for supporting organized data storage, creating searchable archival of all content

- 3-5 years of work experience as a Video Editor or related field
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in video production, or related field.
- Excellent post-production editing and motion graphics via Premiere, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro editing suite, Adobe Creative Suite or similar products
- Demonstrate animation, color correction and design skills
- Candidates with photo editing experience is a bonus
- Organized and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines
- Problem-solver offering pearls of wisdom at every stage of the project
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and work well with other team members
