ABOUT THE ROLE
Aids Management in being the eyes and ears of the property. Ensures only approved individuals enter the building and reach their approved destination. Keeps loading dock and surrounding areas clean and free of trash/debris.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage deliveries and operations of the loading dock.
- Ensures that only commercial and authorized vehicles have access to the dock area.
- Check in all vendors/contractors that are entering the building this includes receiving an ID.
- Direct traffic by facilitating access for contractors and vendors
- Resolve logistical and/or loading conflicts.
- Ensure that contractors/vendors are allowed into the building/specific unit before letting them in.
- Able to use and navigate Building Link to view and add reservations for the loading dock calendar.
- Coordinate and manage dock delivery schedules for retail and residential
- Ensure proper documentation and delivery of packages are given to retail tenants and the lobby desk.
- Understand the needs of the residents/tenants and priorities of the building and assist in managing and resolving issues related to the dock in a proactive manner.
- Be able to communicate with residents and tenants via telephone and in-person if they have any questions, concerns, or even to schedule move-ins, move-outs, and deliveries as required (notify management for move-ins/move-outs).
- Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of the dock area for daily operations.
- Clean trash rooms as needed and as instructed to do so.
- Additional duties as requested by Management.
