General Description
The Well is part of Worthwhile Wear, a non-profit organization located in Bucks County that is dedicated to helping survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. The Well is a long-term restorative residential program for women 18 . The Well Program Manager is part of the leadership team of Worthwhile Wear and is tasked with the management and oversight of Worthwhile Wear’s long-term housing and care program for survivors of human trafficking. This is a full-time salaried position.
The Well Staff Structure: The Program Manager has support administrative staff to help with the daily operations of The Well. The administrative staff is comprised of the Program Coordinator and House Assistant. Additionally, The Well utilizes House Coaches which are part-time staff that work alongside the participants in the program to help them in accomplishing their daily activities such as; ensuring they are completing chores, driving them to appointments, and helping them learn life skills like meal preparation and shopping for household items. All staff at The Well are to report directly to the Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Full oversight and operations of The Well program, staff, and participants
- Work with partner organizations, law enforcement, Sheltered Alliance member organizations, or other referral organizations to reach and offer enrollment to survivors that have a history of sexual exploitation, are 18yrs and older, and identify as female
- Refer rejected applicants to other programs
- Ensure that the ministry element of the program is incorporated into the daily schedule for the women
- Review progress for each enrolled woman, reviewing the individualized plan for each participant with rest of The Well staff through regularly scheduled team meetings
- Maintain an operations budget for the program. Establish and keep proper financial documentation
- Develop program policies together with The Well administrative staff
- Create forms and worksheets as needed (ie: request forms, repair forms, Balanced Living sheets, etc.)
- Connect with partner organizations to provide extended services to The Well participants, such as drug and alcohol recovery services, mental health assessments, job placement, housing, etc.
- Create staff work schedules in conjunction with the needs of the participants
- Enforce and maintain employee policies and procedures
- Hire/Terminate staff for The Well
- Conduct employee reviews and issue pay raises
- Hold regularly scheduled team meetings
- Collect necessary program data through the use of SecurManage Client management software for reporting purposes required by grants received
- Ensuring Program Compliance with standards provided by The National Sheltered Alliance (NTSA)
- Provide monthly reports to be shared with the Board of Directors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling or related field preferred
- Knowledge of/experience with trauma-informed care and/or case management
- Experience with case management practices and recordkeeping
- Knowledge of/experience with principles of Empowerment, Strength-Based skills, and knowledge of Trauma, PTSD, and Complex Trauma
- Experience with problem solving, conflict resolution and crisis management
- Proficient in computer use, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Competent in professional reporting and communication
