Data Analytics Manager

Wow Bao is looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join our team in Chicago!

Wow Bao is looking for a candidate with experience in data extraction, aggregation, analysis, and visualization using software and tools such as Tableau, Excel, and SQL. The Data Analyst will be responsible for (i) adopting and maintaining Wow Bao's current reporting infrastructure on Tableau, and (ii) gathering requirements and developing new dashboards to support the company's growing data and analysis needs. The Data Analyst will also be expected to develop Excel-based reports to support the needs of the company's different departments on an ad hoc basis (incl. Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Marketing). This position is 100% on-site in our new corporate office located in River North.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Adopt and maintain Wow Bao's current reporting infrastructure on Tableau, including all sales and operational dashboards utilized by the Dark Kitchen team
• Collaborate with internal team (incl. CEO, CFO, Head of Dark Kitchen, and Marketing Director) to gather requirements for new reporting needs, help with data-driven decision making, and monitor sales performance against company goals
• Oversee the execution of all new dashboards and reports on Tableau and Excel and lead the training and delivery to all relevant team members
• Refine and continuously look for ways to automate the data extraction process from all third-party delivery platforms including Doordash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Postmates
• Develop ability to identify data patterns and trends related to Wow Bao's dark kitchen delivery operation and present findings to management team
• Work alongside the Digital Marketing team to collect, aggregate, and analyze digital advertising data as well as all data related to in-app promotions on third-party delivery platforms
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments, specifically in Finance and Accounting, as assigned by management
• Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment
• Follow all rules, policies, and procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Be able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends and increased work schedule
• Other tasks and projects assigned as needed

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in Tableau, Excel, and SQL. Python skills are required.
• 3 years of data analytics experience including data extraction, aggregation, analysis, and visualization
• Bachelor degree is required

• Very detail oriented and highly organized

• Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate analysis and results

• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency of the English language
