Responsibilities for Business Development Telemarketer:
- Outbound Calling:Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients and introduce the company’s products or services and explain their benefits
- Lead Generation and Qualification: Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they fit the target customer profile
- Appointment Setting:Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition of information from the telemarketing team to the sales team. Confirm appointment details with both the prospect and the sales team
- Follow-up and Nurturing:Follow up with leads who have shown interest but are not yet ready to make a purchase
- Sales Support:Assist the sales team with the preparation of sales presentations and proposals and provide insights and feedback from telemarketing activities to help refine sales strategies
- Market Research and Intelligence:Gather market information and insights during calls to identify trends and opportunities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
