As a Legal/Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our legal team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the firm. Your duties will include:
- Assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents such as estate planning documents (wills, trusts, etc) and pleadings related to probate matters and adult guardianship matters.
- Organizing and maintaining legal files and documents.
- Preparing correspondence.
- Managing tasks and cases in task management software and billing program.
- Effectively communicating with clients, potential clients and other parties.
- Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to prepare correspondence and legal documents accurately.
- Relevant experience is a plus.
- Proficient in data entry tasks with attention to detail.
