What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position at Wright-Pierce?
Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our company in either our Bedford, NH or Andover, MA office. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Partnering with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Screening resumes, interviewing candidates, administering appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, assisting in making hiring recommendations and delivering employment offers for exempt and non-exempt openings.
- Using traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, industry-specific tradeshows, community networking events, etc.
- Works closely with Human Resources Generalist on our summer hire program.
- Assisting and managing internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
- Assisting in organizing and attending career fairs and recruitment events.
- Working with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
- Managing current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System
- Managing application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
- Willingness to expand role based on firm needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to do some travel to Northeast states.
EDUCATION
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 0-2 years of work experience.
- Previous experience in the A/E/C industry a plus.
