This Opportunity
tk1sc, a WSP USA company, is seeking a Sr. BIM Specialist who can be located out Seattle, Irvine, San Jose, Los Angeles, Riverside, or San Diego.
The tk1sc Senior BIM Specialist is responsible for performing non-routine and complex drafting assignments through the use of various software programs including Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD. Responsible for performing basic design/engineering calculations and collaborating with project leads/engineers/designers to ensure drawings and accurate and complete. Working with some supervision, the Senior BIM Specialist is accountable for contributing to BIM content, process development and technical support.

- Assists with managing the development and output of document sets for tk1sc engineering staff.
- Independently troubleshoots intermediate AutoCAD/Revit project-related issues.
- Oversees project document QA/QC efforts for their respective office.
- Performs AutoCAD/Revit project setups and updates with limited direction of tk1sc engineering staff.
- Administrate tools and technology for staff across the firm.
- Mentors staff on tk1sc AutoCAD/Revit standards and processes.
- Administer corporate training program at the direction of a supervisor.
- Participates in AutoCAD/Revit development in coordination with supervisor. Begins to engage staff to understand development opportunities.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED required
- 5 years’ experience using AutoCAD & Revit technologies within the A/E/C industry
- 5 years’ experience with Revit documentation and management
- Experience and understanding of document management applications (Sharefile, FileZilla, Dropbox, BIM 360, etc.)
- Proven ability to understand and recognize complex design problems.
- Effective communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
- Ability to participate in needed learning activities in a way that makes the most of the learning experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Salary: $40,200 - $75,800
