Electronic Test Technician

We are searching for an experienced Test Technician to join our team in Roanoke! This is a mid-level to senior-level position.

*****Must have experience troubleshooting electronic devices to component level by sectionalizing, localizing and isolating defects. Must have a working knowledge of how transistors, resistors, capacitors, and inductors operate in circuits.*****

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00

Summary: This position is on the production floor, testing printed circuit board assemblies and/or product as a final unit. Ideal candidate has 5 years experience in testing/troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
  • Computer literate having experience with establishing communications between devices using com ports, wireless networks, and wired ethernet connections.
  • Able to interpret schematics, enginerring documents, and BOM's.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.
  • Experience working with programming devices and components using equipment such as MPLAB’s ICD3.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
