Position Summary:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will provide direction, leadership, and practical guidance in facilitating success in WWG’s sales growth, business development, and profitability objectives. Lead and guide Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs) in successfully developing their territories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building, leading, and managing a team of salespeople within the Company.
- Travel in assigned area a minimum of 4 days per week to conduct joint sales calls with assigned reps. Overnight travel is required.
- Must assess needs at assigned branches/territories and devote resources as needed.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of each Inside/Outside Sales Representative, skills, and attributes.
- Attributes are captured by IMPACT and skills are divided between territory (time) management and account management.
- Specifically, territory management is to address the rep’s ability to plan days to ensure proper territory coverage. Account management is the ability to penetrate and grow accounts through adding product categories, selling ORSY, utilization of promotional and selling tools like everyday solutions.
- Execute regular and timely one-on-one discussions with each rep related to the above assessments.
- A coaching plan must be developed for each rep. This plan should highlight the strengths and opportunities for development.
- Ensure effective communication of company and region performance on key metrics to all branch employees on a weekly basis at a minimum.
- Work collaboratively with Ops Managers and other departments to ensure optimal customer service.
- Proactively engage and support the credit department regarding customer accounts, including potential sales growth opportunities, changing risk behavior, enforcement of timely (7 business days) and accurate credits/RMAs processing, and enforcing proper payment and refund processing by the sales team.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A college degree is a plus.
Skills/Experience:
- At least 5 years of Sales experience.
- Experience leading / managing a sales team.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, coach and mentor.
- Identifying, recruiting, and hiring talented sales reps.
- Proven effective Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Defining, implementing (and innovating) sales plans.
- Analyzing sales data to react accordingly.
- Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
- Ability to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
