Overview
Inside sales position, responsible for uncovering new business opportunities and managing aspects of quotations for the Business Development Managers. Areas of focus include Toxicology, DMPK and Bioanalytical service offerings from the Laboratory Testing Division. These services encompass chemistry & biologic services at discovery, development and clinical stages. Serves as a partner with BD, interacting with key Pharma & Biotech stakeholders and decision makers, as well as key opinion leaders.
Responsibilities
- Source, assess, triage and support IND and NDA service opportunities with new clients and new areas with some current clients in the Pharma & Biotech market. This is done primarily via computer and phone.
- Work with BD Managers to help set up TCs and Face-to-Face meetings with new clients or new business for their travel and trade shows
- Help manage aspects of quotation follow up, client follow up and process completion, as needed
- Execute local marketing and product launch programs in conjunction with the corporate product management and marketing team.

Technical Skills / Knowledge:
- Demonstrates expertise in integrated service offerings of the Laboratory Testing Division at WuXi AppTec..
- Ability to represent the company and its business interests at the highest levels: with key Pharma & Biotech stakeholders and decision makers, key opinion leaders.
- Demonstrates expertise in market-specific environments like market specific trends, regulatory frameworks and legal boundaries, competitive landscapes, influential medical societies, etc.

Customary Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience acquiring and developing key accounts and driving top line CRO, Pharma, Biotech services revenue growth, through collaboration or independent efforts.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Life Science fields, MBA, M.S., or PhD from Life Science fields a plus.
- Direct sales experience in CRO, Pharma & Biotech services, or related health care industries;
- International business or cross-cultural experience, ability to work with international teams.
- Ability and experience working from home
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
- Minimal travel <10%, but some international to HQ in China
