What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager (DHS) position at WWC Global?

WWC Global is seeking a Program Manager for a potential contract within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service in support of their Financial Management Operations (FMO).

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing all contractor work performed under the statement of work.
  • Serving as a single point of contact for this effort. The PM and all designated alternates shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Taking iterative steps to plan various routine and emergent projects.
  • Organizing the overall contracting team while clearly identifying roles and duties of team members.
  • Leading the team(s) through completion of requested deliverables, and control daily activities by constantly measuring, evaluating, and correcting daily, routine, and emerging activities.
  • Providing constant status reports on all deliverables requested by Directors and Leadership.
  • Ensuring proper and constant coordination is established with FPS regional Mission Support personnel on all items related to FMO responsibilities and/or oversight.
  • Ensuring all Contractor work performed under this contract is accurate and complete.

This position is contingent on contract award.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal travel expected.
