Job Title: Digital Advertising Sales Consultant
FLSA/Exempt Status: Salary/Exempt
Pay Range: $40,000 base commission
Hours per Week: [Full Time (Over 30 hours) 40 hours
General Summary of Responsibilities
The Digital Advertising Sales Consultant works with both finding and selling new digital advertising clients as well as servicing and seeking opportunities to sell more digital marketing solutions to existing digital and or print clients. They will also ensure that digital campaigns are successful and renewal rates are consistently high. The position will track, manage, optimize and report on all client campaigns assigned to them. In addition, the Digital Advertising Sales Consultant will be the digital expert on our digital advertising front.
Essential Job Functions
Regularly attend sales calls with local Account Managers and build your own book of leads to call on individually as
Onboard New Digital Clients including training on how to use digital tools, discuss and recommend targeting solutions and creative
Launch and maintain all aspects of campaigns including both owned and partner
Schedule required meetings with clients to review their campaign performance, suggest optimization techniques and share campaign
Regularly monitor client campaigns for success and recommend optimization techniques to clients, sales reps and digital operation
Suggest additional digital solutions to clients as part of the campaign management
Achieve monthly digital advertising revenue growth goals on a regular basis.
Other Duties
Ability to be a team player, and backup others as needed.
Other duties as assigned and other projects as needed during peak traffic.
Job Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Able to manage a client load of 40-65 accounts
Able to manage multiple projects
Ability to work with Software including Google DFP, fi, and other media partners.
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
Familiarity with online media
Able to work with CRM
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience preferred in digital marketing role is preferred.
Skills and Abilities / Lifting Requirements (Maximum weight required)
Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems for advertising order entry and fulfillment. Ability to help advertisers creative effective marketing messages in order to produce digital marketing results.
No lifting requirements.
Minimum Education, certifications or licenses
College degree preferred but not required with a minimum of 2 years of digital marketing sales experience
