ICU Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid and current MT RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) six months from hire date

Preferred If:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a relevant field
• At least 2 years experience as an ICU nurse or critical care unit
• CCRN certification
• Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy.
• Ability to work in a stressful and emotional environment

Job Description:

This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), night shift Registered Nurse Position in the Intensive Care Unit. With a weekend requirement of every third weekend.

Position Summary:

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

· Licensed or eligible for licensing in the State of Montana as Registered Nurse.

· BLS Healthcare Provider required upon hire.

· ACLS within six (6) months of hire.
