What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician position at X2logics?
Responsibilities
- Working closely with a team Industrial Layout Engineers, the candidate will perform in-field location verification signoffs (datums, pedestals, tools, and misc support items) within Subfab and Fab manufacturing areas. The candidate will also be used to perform in-field layout audits and as-building. The candidate should be able to read dimension details from a construction design drawing using Autodesk DWF and PDF files and be able to read a tape measure.
- The candidate should have good knowledge of using SW such as Microsoft Windows, Office (Outlook) to communicate with stakeholders.
- AutoCAD experience would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
- The environment is collaborative and task oriented. The new hire should expect to receive tasks from multiple people and that these people will/could be remote.
- What are the 5 essential and desirable skills/ experience required for the role?
- Able to read dimension details from a construction design drawing
- Ability to read a tape measure and complete in field measurements within a manufacturing environment.
- Able to read and interpret Autodesk DWF and PDF files.
- Able to use Microsoft Outlook to take e-mailed task direction from multiple customers and plan time accordingly using Calendar.
- Good communication skills
- Will be working in Fab

Salary: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
