The Position: AR Specialist
Location: Westminster, CO
Pay Rage: $62,500 – 70,000 Salary Annually
Responsibilities:
Xclusive Services is currently seeking a AR Specialist to provide detailed financial support to the Accounting Department.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills as well as a high degree of attention to detail.
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
- Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit memo applications, and account statement summaries.
- Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable sub-ledger to the bank and to general ledger account balances, performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
- Assess internal controls, maintaining documentation for accounts receivable, cash receipts and treasury.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting and comply with national and local financial requirements.
- Working knowledge of GAAP

Requirements:
- 2 years of proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Specialist, or accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize and meet daily and weekly deadlines.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting software, Netsuite preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel ability; Vlookups, Pivots, If statements, statistical formulas, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
