Purpose:
The Human Resources Senior Compensation Analyst with Xerox will conduct data collection and analysis involved in making recommendations regarding broad base salary programs to ensure employees are paid competitively and in according to Xerox's policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Manager, Global Compensation in all matters concerning the design, development, and administration of global broad-based compensation programs (salary and non-sales short-term incentives).
- Act as a trusted resource in broad-based and variable compensation topics for various business groups across a geographically dispersed workforce. Will support corporate programs as well as programs for divisions and business units (may be assigned to a specific subsidiary(ies)
- Ability to act in a lead capacity managing projects, programs and processes. Takes initiative to identify and propose process improvements
- Maintains the career framework through the job evaluation process, ensuring that positions are evaluated against the established set of criteria and are leveled consistently across the organization
- Maintain and apply knowledge related to compliance and government regulations regarding pay, including the FLSA statute
- Partner on various ongoing projects including but not limited to annual compensation cycle, program competitiveness, salary ranges, and market trends
- Managing job documentation, databases and tables related to job codes and job families
- Maintaining the Compensation presence on the company's internal website
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers to ensure the best thinking is reflected in work products
Qualifications:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience using market pricing tools in a global environment
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong knowledge of HCM and payroll systems
- Education And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- CCP preferred
- Minimum 5 years current and relevant experience in compensation; prior consulting and corporate experience required
