As a Project Manager at XLA, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and coordination of projects designed to address some of the world's most pressing problems. This is a full-time remote role that will require you to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, and to have a holistic understanding of project management principles. The Program Manager shall be responsible for the overall management and performance of the contract and be the primary point of contact to the Government. Also but not limited too:
- Monitoring of project performance using data.
- Regular written reporting on country context, project activities, performance monitoring data, analysis of project impact, and information on future relevant activities/events.
- Periodic conference call project updates and occasional in-person briefings.
- Financial management and reporting.
- Conducting risk assessments and risk mitigation planning.
- Problem solving to identify ways to achieve DOS programmatic and policy objectives
- US Citizen.
- Secret Security Clearance.
- DOD Program Management Experience a plus!
- Six (6) years of project/program management experience.
- Ten (10) years of professional experience as a manager
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Bachelor's degree and at least ten (10) years of prior professional experience in program management.
OR
Master's degree and at least six (6) years prior professional experience in program management.
- Experience living and working overseas.
- Fluent English language speaking and writing ability.
