Monday to Friday, Day Shift Role.
Shift Time: 7am to 4pm

Summary
As a Warehouse Tire Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our tire warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will involve mounting and balancing tires, slicing rubber, and performing other related tasks. You will work closely with a team of professionals to meet the needs of our customers and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Mounting Tires:
- Properly mount tires onto rims using specialized equipment.
- Ensure that tires are correctly aligned and securely fitted.
Balancing Tires:
- Use balancing machines to ensure tires are balanced properly.
- Correct any imbalances by adding or removing weights as needed.
Slicing Rubber:
- Accurately slice rubber to specified dimensions and shapes.
- Ensure that rubber slicing is done safely and efficiently.
Inspection and Quality Control:
- Inspect tires for any defects or damage before and after mounting.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards.
Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all tire-related transactions and activities.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance on tire mounting and balancing equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist customers with tire selection and provide recommendations based on their needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mounting and balancing tires.
- Experience in slicing rubber is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Use of machinery and tools that require adherence to safety protocols.
- Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
