What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Develop, prepare, maintain, and research monthly performance reports
- Maintain and update procedural training documentation and the departmental SharePoint site
- Provide guidance and technical support to others when deviation from standard processes occurs; escalate recurring issues to management
- Lead improvement initiatives for departmental processes and ensure that tasks are completed within designated time frames
- Provide technical expertise in customs-related functions, including physical clearance processes, paperwork processes and regulatory requirements, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 4 years of related work experience
- Call center experience
- Administrative support experience in a corporate office
- Proficiency with SharePoint
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian geography
It’d be great if you also have:
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Experience handling DOT accident, injuries, and breakdowns within the transportation environment
- Familiarity with trade compliance, customs regulations, DOT, and OSHA
