Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing world-class IT field service to our large multi-concept restaurant organization in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming customer calls and field dispatches, responding to incoming requests for restaurants needing service
- Meet with the customer to determine the nature of the service or repair for proper resolution
- Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Repair equipment and replace faulty parts.
- Install and test new equipment.
- Run data cables as necessary.
- Assist in on-call support over the phone.
- Providing preventive equipment maintenance.
- Maintaining equipment and parts stock.
- Completing job reports and other documentation.
- Communicate trends, issues and recommendations to supervisor.
- Work with the Information Technology team to identify available training that will enhance and improve computing support delivered to customer
Skills, Knowledge and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
- Ability to work weekends as part of regular 40-hour work week.
- 2 years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
- A , Linux , or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in software installation.
- Attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks at one time
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
