As a Showroom Associate, you’ve got to:
- Enjoy connecting with people - you love the constant change from day to day with each new customer
- Have the agility to juggle tasks and customers while ensuring quality of work is not compromised
- Gain a well-rounded understanding of outdoor furniture and materials.
- Clearly and confidently communicate expectations with customers in regards to performance, lead times, warranties, etc.
- Have an eye for, or an eagerness to learn about floor planning and furniture layouts to facilitate design consultations in the showroom
- Be driven to manage your workload in an environment where the pace is ever changing.
- Make smart decisions by actively listening, understanding the data, and thinking outside of the box
- Connect with customers over the phone and through email to assist with ordering, product inquiries, and problem solving
- Take personal ownership and accountability
- Help customers with the order process on our POS system with the greatest attention to detail
- Be tech savvy while at the same time knowing devises don’t dominate dialogue
- Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards
- Monitor inventory levels to be aware of items with low or no inventory to set clear expectations and or alternative solutions with customers
- Be comfortable not knowing all the answers but knowing where to find them
- Keep the showroom, and plants looking their best
- Feel comfortable leaning on leaders and peers for support, guidance, and partnership

- Hands-on experience with POS transactions with the ability to read and understand sales data
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
- Understand the importance of providing an elevated retail experience
- Confidently handle de-escalation with understanding and compassion
- Flexibility: Retail hours apply - weekends and some holidays
