Job Posting for Medical Transportation Driver at Yared Medical Transportation
Job Type: Full-time (5.5 days/week)
Salary: $16.00 -18/hour Depending on Experience
We are a small Non Emergency Medical Transport Company located in the Portland Area where our goal is to provide an efficient and quality transportation service that leaves our clients feeling they are cared about.
JOB DUTIES: -
Transport customers to non-emergency appointments by ensuring timely pick ups and drop offs as scheduled
Assist customers (ambulatory and non-ambulatory) to enter and leave the vehicle safely while treating them with respect and maintaining confidentiality.
Safely operate wheelchair van with a ramp and ability to load customers properly. (may occasionally require kneeling, reaching/stretching and lifting upto 60Lbs)
Be punctual and poses excellent communication skills with clients and dispatch team.
Operate mobile/tablet app to log trips and follow instructions with minimum supervision.
Duties include detailing and vehicle inspections for daily transportation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years of driving record
Current Oregon Drivers License
Must have City of Portland “Private for Hire” permit (we can help guide you through the process if you don’t already have one)
must pass background and drug test.
First Aid and CPR
Must have clean 10 year DMV record and no more than 1 ticket in the past 12 months.
Pass a national criminal background check (paid by employer)
Must have a smart phone
Access to Email
Must be dependable and flexible
Must be able to pass all certification, training and evaluation as required by Federal, State and
Company.
Familiarity with Clackamas and Multnomah Counties: - (Portland, Sandy, Estacada, Canby,
Oregon City, Molalla)
