Position: Site Quality Inspector-Industrial

Skills and Experience:
This position will provide welding/mechanical inspection and support and implementation of the site-specific welding program for heavy industrial construction projects. This position reports to the Site Quality Manager.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of programs such as Excel, and Word
- Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines
- 5-10 years previous industrial construction experience is required
- Small to medium project experience ($5M-$20M ) is required
- Must be able to perform visual inspection of welds and coordinate Radiographic, UT and PT/MT testing of welds
- Experience working with, B31.1, B31.3, AWS D1.1, and ASME Sections I, VIII, and IX
- Must be a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Knowledge and experience with field machining and / or precision measurements for the installation of piping and equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with PWHT is preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide support to discipline Field Engineers (piping, component, structural, etc.) with the development of Welding Documentation (Weld Data Records and Weld Maps) for their respective construction work packages
- Daily activities include field inspection, weld mapping, coaching of welders, welder qualification, quality surveillances, and disposition support of welding issues and non-conformances
- Develop and issue various reports
